NEW ORLEANS – Guests are invited to embark on what the team is calling an immersive culinary journey across the Caribbean during an exclusive, one-night-only dinner at Compère Lapin on April 12. Inspired by the new book “The Caribbean Cookbook” by Rawlston Williams, the evening will showcase the diverse foods, flavors and culinary traditions of all 28 island nations. Williams and Chef Nina Compton will present a menu celebrating the region’s vibrant ingredients and iconic flavors, including citrus, nutmeg, coconut, tamarind, pimento, pineapple, rum and more.
Tickets for the dinner are $125 per person (excluding tax and gratuity). An optional wine/rum pairing is available for $35 per person. Each guest will also receive a signed copy of “The Caribbean Cookbook” (retail value $59.95).   The menu is as follows:             Â
