NOCCA Foundation Home for the Holidays

With a lineup of Irma Thomas, Kermit Ruffins, the Soul Rebels and Big Freedia, NOCCA Foundation’s annual Home for the Holidays was a must-see for music fans and supporters of the foundation on Dec. 9.

The party at the House of Blues was emceed by Gralen Banks, who expertly guided this benefit for NOCCA Foundation’s Daniel Price Memorial Fund for Aspiring Artists, which honors the memory of NOCCA alum Daniel Price (Visual Arts, 1993) with scholarships for NOCCA students.

“Home for the Holidays was dreamed up by the Price family 20 years ago as a way to turn a profound tragedy into a celebration of Daniel’s life and a legacy of support for NOCCA’s young artists,” said Adonis Rose, executive director of the NOCCA Foundation.

In addition to ticket sales, there was a silent auction to help raise even more funds.
