NEW ORLEANS (press release) – The NOCCA Foundation and The Meraux Foundation invite you to the ART&SOUL gala on Saturday May 14, at the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts, 600 Homer Plessy Way! Guests will enjoy entertainment by NOCCA students and alumni, food from local restaurants and Culinary Arts alumni, and they’ll have a chance to win a brand-new, 2022 Lincoln Corsair!

ENJOY FOOD, ENTERTAINMENT, AND ART!ART&SOUL kicks off at 6:00 p.m. with a patron party and a performance by alum Orlando Gilbert and The Crescent City Connection. Patrons will also be able to place early bids in the ART&SOUL silent auction, which includes vacation packages, dining experiences, and of course, stunning original art like Queen’s Blossom (detail above left), created for ART&SOUL 2022 by NOCCA Visual Arts junior Khalil McKnight.
ART&SOUL continues with the gala at 7:00 p.m., sponsored by The Meraux Foundation. Performances by NOCCA alumni Doreen’s Jazz New Orleans (pictured above right) and NOCCA’s Alumni All-Stars will get guests on their feet, and one lucky person will win a brand-new Lincoln Corsair in our Lamarque Lincoln Raffle, courtesy of Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie Lamarque!
