NOLA Project Stages Seasonal Silliness with Clown Bar Christmas

NEW ORLEANS (press release) – The clowns have all come home for the holidays.

The NOLA Project theatre company returns to its clown roots with a play perfect for the season. Adam Szymkowicz’s CLOWN BAR CHRISTMAS tells the story of clowns..in a bar..at Christmas. There’s more to it, but you’ll have to venture into the seedy underbelly of clown crime to see for yourself. Set before the events of 2015 TNP hit CLOWN BAR, this one-night-only reading promises plenty of laughs, a couple of gasps and maybe even a tune or 12. Don’t say we didn’t warn ya…

The all-NOLA Project cast includes Khiry Armstead, James Bartelle, Jenny L. Billot, Natalie Boyd, Keith Claverie, Wayland Cooper, Alex Pomes, Pamela D. Roberts, Michael Aaron Santos, Matthew Thompson, Tenaj Wallace and Megan Whittle.

Get (re)acquainted with Dusty, Happy, Blinky and the whole mob Monday, Dec. 11, at 8 p.m. at The Domino. Reservations are available for a $15 donation. All proceeds go toward The NOLA Project’s year-end campaign.
