NEW ORLEANS (press release) – The Big TREEsy Giveaway will take place this Saturday, Feb. 24, from 8:30 a.m. until noon at the Southern Food & Beverage Museum at 1504 Oretha Castle Haley Blvd.
Throughout the year, NOLA Tree Project operates several Big TREEsy giveaways in various New Orleans districts to promote and enhance the wellbeing of the community. NOLA Tree Project gives aways nearly 3K trees all while educating the community through workshops on tree planting and maintenance, storm water management and the vital role trees play environmentally.
This Big TREEsy Giveaway is for Orleans Parish residents ONLY, but not limited to District residents.
All Orleans Parish residents are welcome! Please bring your Picture ID.
