FRIDAY NIGHTS AT NOMA: Lynn Drury in concert

Friday Nights at NOMA on June 21 features musician Lynn Drury performing in her signature “NOLAmerican” style in the Great Hall from 5:30 to 8:30 pm. The popular Art on the Spot drop-in activity table welcomes guests from 5 – 8 pm. All galleries, the Museum Shop, and Café NOMA remain open until 9 p.m.

Musicians team with authors for an evening of word and sound

Authors from multiple nations will gather with accompanying musicians for an Evening of Literature and Music on Sunday, June 23, from 6:30 – 9 p.m. As part of NOMA’s Arts and Letters Series, the museum has partnered with Narrative 4 to bring eight writers to Stern Auditorium where they will read selections from their books paired with local musicians who will play music native to the author’s home nation or region, including Jamaica, Ireland, Sierra Leone, Louisiana’s Acadiana and the American West.
