Start the Adventure in Reading thanks John Stockmeyer for his dedication to bolstering the reading levels of struggling young students through STAIR’s tutoring program. Through his service as a board member and generous donor, John has helped STAIR serve more than 8,500 families via free, one-on-one tutoring. Tutoring helps ensure that children meet critical reading benchmarks by 3rd grade; the results include improved likelihood of high school graduation and many other positive outcomes.
