The dog days of summer were upon the region when the “Jazz’n the Vines” concert was July 28—when these photos were taken. “Jazz’n” takes place May through October, the second and fourth Saturdays of the month, at Pontchartrain Vineyards in Bush, La. The outdoor evening concert series showcases bands or musicians who play blues, big band, jazz, tango, roots and R&B. On this night, Limited Edition, a band steeped in New Orleans R&B traditions, entertained the crowds who also have picnics while they are there—and sample the vineyard’s award-winning wines.
