The Junior League of Greater Covington held its 11th Annual Harvest Cup Polo Classic on Oct. 28. Held at the John Melton’s Folsom Equestrian Center, the exciting polo match also featured delicious food and beverages from over 50 local restaurants and bars. Live entertainment was provided by Four Unplugged and guests even got to test out skills with a putting contest. Those who were feeling lucky purchased raffle tickets to win a jewelry shopping spree at Lee Michaels Fine Jewelers.
Funds raised at the spectacular event benefit the Junior League of Greater Covington’s community projects including Hope House Child Advocacy Program, Habitat for Humanity, New Heights Equestrian Center and Southeast Hospital Adolescent Unit. The JLGC also has its own signature projectsincluding the Career Corner, the Children’s Museum of Southeast Louisiana and The Museum Without Walls.
