NEW ORLEANS (press release) – The New Orleans Wine & Food Experience has announced pre-sale tickets will be available to its legendary Royal Street Stroll and Grand Tasting events for its March 18-22, 2020 event. Individual tickets, discounted by 23 percent, will be available at www.nowfe.com from Oct. 17 through Nov. 22. General admission and VIP tickets will go on sale Nov. 22.
The NOWFE Board of Directors is pleased to offer tickets to its Royal Street Stroll on Thursday, March 19 for $75 each and tickets to the Friday evening Grand Tasting on March 20 and the Saturday afternoon Grand Tasting on March 21 for $99 each. “The new, earlier dates for these events make them a great gift item for the holiday season,” states Aimee Brown, NOWFE Executive Director. “At these discounted prices they will go fast, so we encourage our locals and regulars to buy now so they don’t miss out on the fun next spring.”

NOWFE moved its event to the March 18-22 dates as a result of a coordinated effort to host the NCAA Women’s Final Four in New Orleans April 3-5. French Quarter Festival (FQF) will now occur on NOWFE’s original April dates. “This move benefits the entire hospitality industry of New Orleans, and we are proud to share in the economic impact it will bring to our city,” said Ewell Smith, incoming NOWFE Board President.
In 2019, NOWFE committed 100 percent of its proceeds to two beneficiaries – a $15K scholarship to one New Orleans Culinary & Hospitality Institute (NOCHI) student and Café Reconcile will receive 100 percent of the remaining event proceeds. Over NOWFE’s 28-year history, it has donated more than $1.5 Million to local non-profit organizations.
