NEW ORLEANS – The Ogden Museum of Southern Art will host another Ogden After Hours concert as a part of the Jazz Series on Wednesday, April 29.
The series and the night is in celebration of the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival and the exhibition Herman Leonard: Images of Jazz, presented by The Helis Foundation.
The evening will feature a performance by New Orleans trumpeter, vocalist and composer Aurélien Barnes. Barnes blends traditional New Orleans jazz with Mardi Gras Indian funk and modern influences, honoring the legacy of legends like King Oliver and Louis Armstrong while pushing the sound forward.
