Ogden Museum Hosts Adult Art Class in May

NEW ORLEANS – The Ogden Museum of Southern Art announced a three-day adult art class this May.

Those interested have the opportunity to join museum Educator Myron Solomon Jr. for a printmaking workshop at the museum May 13-15.

The museum shares that participant will experiment with many materials and techniques that include relief printing, collagraphy and cyanotype sun printing. All of which require no prior experience as a printmaker, but noting this class will “encourage you to push creative boundaries.”

Tickets for the class are $150 for members, $165 for non-members. And while all supplies will be provided, the museum encourages bringing personal printmaking materials if you have them.
