NEW ORLEANS (press release) – Ogden Museum of Southern Art announced today that they will host the Official Afterparty for the 30th Anniversary of Fidelity Bank White Linen Night. On Saturday, August 3 from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m., the Museum invites White Linen Night goers to a late-night party featuring DJs, cash bars, food trucks and a special couture fashion activation by Arts New Orleans’ Salon Studios. Event tickets can be purchased in advance for $40.00, and at the door for $50.
Organized by Arts District New Orleans (ADNO), Fidelity Bank White Linen Night is an annual fundraiser that takes place during the first Saturday in August. This year’s White Linen Night will take place Saturday, Aug. 3, from 5 to 10 p.m. on the 300-600 blocks of Julia Street in the New Orleans’ historic Warehouse Arts District, as well as the 500 block of Saint Joseph – bridging the Julia-street thoroughfare with surrounding galleries, museums and institutions. Guests are strongly encouraged to don their white linen while strolling the district, visit the galleries, enjoy food and drink from local vendors and art-centered street activations.
AMer 10 p.m., White Linen Night goers are invited to the Official Afterparty at Ogden Museum. Throughout the afterparty, attendees will enjoy music spun by DJ Rakimbeau and DJ Rozay, and an array of food trucks featuring local favorites. From 10 to 11:30 p.m., attendees will be welcomed into the museum by illuminated couture designs crafted by Salon Studios’ fashion designers. Salon Studios, a residency partnership between Arts New Orleans and Canal Place Shopping Center, will have its five fashion designers light up the Afterparty, with designer having a model representing their brands in illuminated couture designs. The five designers include: Renée Johnson of Afri Modiste, VanShawn Kayie Branch of Kayie, Denisio Truitt of Denisio Truitt, Nicholas Linson of St. Nick and Jehlani Nasira of Asira.

Ogden Museum of Southern Art will be open 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. during Fidelity Bank’s White Linen Night, then will reopen at 10 p.m. for the AIerparty.
