The Legacy Donor Foundation exists in order to educate people about the importance of registering as organ and tissue donors. We all know how crucial it is to discuss our wishes for what happens to us after death with our loved ones – the more people learn about the significance of organ donation and register as donors, the more lives will be saved.

To that end, the Legacy Donor Foundation presents its annual Soul Revival on March 27 at the beautiful Old Metairie home of Danielle Kavanagh (where the event was also held to great aplomb last year). All proceeds from the event will benefit the foundation’s educational programs and awareness campaigns.

Join co-chairs Mary Margaret Brewer and Shelby Westfelt, major sponsor Whitney Bank’s Caroline Milling and Judge Tony Russo – whose beautiful 1948 Mercury convertible graces our cover and will be on display at the event – as they rock the night away to the sounds of Shades of Praise, Atlanta Sound and more! The event promises to “soothe your soul” with delectable soul food from the Hilton New Orleans Riverside and decadent treats from Sucré.

For more information or to purchase tickets, visit soulrevival2010.com or call the foundation at 588-8900.
