Celebrate the opening of the John E. Kushner Restoration Pavilion, the National World War II Museum’s latest attraction on Friday, June 3 at the 2011 IberiaBank Victory Ball with honoree Harry Connick Sr. and the Victory Belles. The pavilion will allow visitors of the museum a glimpse into the restoration process of priceless relics from World War II, including the museum’s PT-305 boat.
Co-Chairs Michael Bylen, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Canizaro and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Levy present the black tie optional event celebrating the Greatest Generation that defined American spirit during World War II. The night kicks off at 5:30 p.m. with the Superior Energy Patron Party where attendees will get a sneak peek at the new pavilion. The Victory Ball follows at 7 p.m. with an elegant dinner by Chef John Besh and program honoring special guest and 2011 Silver Service Medallion Honoree Harry Connick Sr. Around 9 p.m., the second annual Otto Candies’ “How Sweet It Is!” dessert and dancing soiree begins featuring the Bucktown All-Stars.
Individual tickets, sponsorships and tickets for “How Sweet It Is!” are available. Raffle tickets for a luxury week-long vacation to a private resort in Mazanillio, Mexico for up to five couples can be purchased online,
