On the Cover: January 2013

Archie Manning and local St. Jude patient Anna James grace our cover in honor of the Legends for Charity® Dinner, where Manning will be the eighth recipient of the Pat Summerall Award. Taking place on Thursday, January 31, during Super Bowl XLVII weekend in New Orleans, the event benefits St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Past recipients of the Pat Summerall award are fellow CBS Sports broadcasters James Brown, Greg Gumbel and Jim Nantz. Others include ESPN’s Chris Berman, NBC Sports’ Cris Collinsworth and Al Michaels and The NFL on FOX.

Celebrating the life and career of one of our most legendary sports figures while supporting the miracles performed every day at St. Jude, this award was created in 2004 by Cheryl DeLeonardis, president of Ocean 2 Ocean Productions.

NFL Network Host Rich Eisen will serve as Master of Ceremonies of the evening at the Empire Ballroom of the Hyatt Regency New Orleans, and guest speakers will include James Carville and Mary Matalin.
For more information and to purchase tickets, call (225) 282-3240 or visit LegendsForCharity.com.
