Palm & Pine Hosts Holiday Lunch Extravaganza Dec. 20

NEW ORLEANS (press release) – Kick off your Merry Making with a Jammin’ Holiday Lunch at Palm&Pine.

Helmed by James Beard: Best Chef South semi-finalists Jordan Herndon and Amarys Koenig Herndon, the duo will host P&P Holiday Special: Lunch Extravaganza, a fun and festive three-course holiday lunch on Friday, Dec. 20, from 11 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. for $59 per person(excluding tax and gratuity).

Starters include The P&P Salad with roasted beets, local lettuces, prima donna gouda, toasted pecans, and Worcestershire dressing; Crispy Cauliflower with mortadella dressing, olive salad, and provolone; Gulf Shrimp Rampart with guajillo red remoulade, and fried saltines; Oyster and Artichoke Gratin with parmesan bread crumbs, and Tabasco mash Beurre Blanc; or Lemongrass Fried Chicken Gumbo with dark coconut roux, LaPlace Andouille, and kabocha potato salad. Entrees include TX BBQ Shrimp with P&P Worcestershire, mesquite smoked shrimp butter, and dong phuong French; Gulf Fish Ponchartrain with LA blue crab and braised endive; Fried Texas Quail with boudin stuffed, tamarind greens, and Creole hot honey mustard jus; Veal Picatta with lemon caper butter and roasted broccoli; or Grilled Wagyu Skirt with asparagus, TX balsamic and beef fat vinaigrette. Satisfy your sweet tooth with options like the Holiday Flan, Flourless Chocolate Cake with coffee ice cream, and the P&P Cheese Plate with triple cream cheese, Satsuma marmalade, and oatmeal cookies.
