NEW ORLEANS (press release) – Head to the Peacock Room on Thursday, June 20, at 8 p.m. for a special Summer Soul-stice show with Da Lovebirds, the soulful R&B duo featuring singer and “the Songbird of New Orleans,” Robin Barnes, and her husband Pat Casey, to usher out the longest day of the year with style, great food and drinks, and beautiful music.
Joining Da Lovebirds will be Denisia, a New Orleans-native and seasoned singer/songwriter with over a decade of experience in the music industry known for her sultry, confident vocals and infectious lyrics. Denisia seamlessly blends R&B, dance, pop and inspirational sounds, and her resume includes major placements on albums by Grammy-nominated artists like Tamar Braxton and Juvenile, as well as performances alongside notable artists like Fantasia and Kendrick Lamar. She just released her latest project, “My Other Side,” last month.
While enjoying the show, guests can also explore the Peacock Room dinner and drinks menus and indulge in delicious favorites like the Peacock Smash Burger, Crispy Brussels Sprouts, Rock Candy Braised Short Ribs and NOLA Hot Chicken Sandwich, or sharable items like the Snack Board.
And throughout the month of June, Peacock Room is featuring special cocktails for Pride month, where $1 from each Pride cocktail sold will be donated to The Trevor Project. Drinks include the Fyre Island with jalapeno-infused Novo Fogo Cachaça, Oxbow Spiced Rum, orgeat, guava, lemon and grapefruit; the Banana Hammock with Casamigos Mezcal, Casamigos Anejo, banana, Amontillado Sherry, ginger, toasted rice and citrus; and the Alphabet Mafia with Gentilly Gin, Aviation Gin, Yuzu Curaçao and Meletti.
