This week, the Ogden Museum of Southern Art announced a new event package tailored specifically for events during the pandemic and its continued restrictions.
The Ogden’s “Petite Events” are set to be intimate gatherings with customizable options to match the customer’s event vision.
The Petite Event package includes:
- Up to 50 guests (depending on CDC, state and local guidelines at the time of the event)
- Premium unlimited bar package
- Food by Palate Catering
- Element Rentals
- Thibodeaux’s Floral Studio Package
- DJ HeelTurn (Brandon Lattimore)
- Photography Package
Each event is either set in the Patrick F. Taylor Library, which has a gorgeous rotunda and was opened on Mardi Gras Day in 1889. According to the Ogden website, it is also the only building in the South that was designed by American architect and Louisiana native Henry Hobson Richardson.
The package comes with four floral theme options from Thibodeaux’s Floral Studio; a bar package includes liquor, beer selections and a red and a white wine; and the catering menu has up to two hors d’oeuvres and a full buffet.
A look-book with additional event information, plus frequently asked questions and how to contact the team can be found on the Ogden’s website here.
