NEW ORLEANS (press release) – Picnic Provisions & Whiskey opened its doors, and of course outdoors, Wednesday, May 27, to friends and neighbors for delivery, carry-out, dine-in, and catering on the corner of Magazine and State streets.
Picnic was founded on the joy of eating outdoors with friends. As we all maneuvered through this new world, Picnic saw you picnicking at a safe distance – on your porch, in your backyard, in the back of your truck, or in the distant outdoors. This encouraged the team to get back to serving the community and bring you their Picnics as soon as safely possible.
The restaurant will serve favorites that regulars miss like the Crawfish Boil Hot Fried Chicken Sandwich, Cuban Pig Dip, and Picnic Crunch Salad, but Picnic is also going coastal. As the weather continues to warm up, slip in for some new items like Peel and Eat Wild Gulf Shrimp, Sticky Vietnamese Glazed Wild Shrimp, Cracked Crab and Grilled Corn Beignets, and a Roasted Crab Cake “On The Half Shell.”
Picnic is following new protocols for safety to ensure the cozy space is as safe as possible. More info can be found on nolapicnic.com.
