NEW ORLEANS (press release) – The Louisiana Landmarks Society announces the 225th birthday of the of the c. 1799 Pitot House to be held at the annual Fête Du Jardin on Sunday, Oct. 27.
Located along the banks of Bayou St. John, the Fête Du Jardin will feature a garden party from 6-8 p.m. (Patron Party begins at 5 p.m.), with music by Leo Olivera & Friends, delectable dishes and libations, along with a silent auction and wine pull.
Guests are invited to purchase tickets for this celebration through the Louisiana Landmarks Society.
Fête Du Jardin is Louisiana Landmarks Society’s major fundraiser of the year and has always been a festive and delightful evening. The success of this event is critical to the continued care, maintenance and preservation of the Pitot House.
