MANDEVILLE, La (press release) – Since 1978, PJ’s Coffee has been sharing its passion for the art of coffeemaking with the Greater New Orleans community. Now, the local staple is giving Mandeville another spot to find its superior roasting techniques.
On Tuesday, Nov. 22, the New Orleans-born coffeehouse will open its newest location at 4520 LA-22 in Mandeville. To celebrate, the PJ’s team will be joined by the St. Tammany Parish Chamber of Commerce and local dignitaries for a ribbon-cutting ceremony on opening day from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
“We’re making it a priority to reinvest into the Greater New Orleans community that got our brand to where it is today,” said Steven Ballard. “While we’re thrilled to bring PJ’s across the country, we’ll never forget about the Big Easy.”
At the grand opening, guests can look forward to a FREE 12 oz. Hot or Original Cold Brew® Iced Coffee, as well as free giveaways, samples of its fresh-baked pastries and its hot, pillowy sugar-coated beignets – PJ’s newest, unique and delicious fried confectionary treat. There will also be a prize wheel to win PJ’s swag and t-shirts.
“There can never be too much PJ’s Coffee in New Orleans,” said Scott Ballard. “We’re excited to connect with even more members of our amazing community and host another grand opening celebration with our team.”
