NEW ORLEANS (press release) – Chef Farrell Harrison and the team at Plates are kicking off Carnival weekend in style with a festive afternoon complete with classic Big Easy entertainment and dishes inspired by Mardi Gras favorites.
WHAT: Annual Mardi Gras Luncheon at Plates
WHEN: Friday, Feb. 28, from 11:45 a.m. – 3 p.m.
DETAILS: Taking place every Friday before Mardi Gras, this year’s annual Plates luncheon will feature an array of live performances and music, including on-site artist painting (with the final art available that day for auction) and a brass band to top off the celebration. Each year’s menu (outlined below) is inspired by the team’s favorite Mardi Gras parade snacks. Large parties are welcome and costumes are encouraged!
