Liz Williams is president and CEO of the Southern Food and Beverage Institute (aka the SoFAB Institute). In today's podcast, Williams explains what the SoFAB Institute is and describes some of the institute's various projects. One of the SoFAB Institute's most recent initiatives is the SoFAB Culinary Library and Archive, which opened Oct. 30, 2013. According to Williams, many interesting people have contributed to the culinary library, and many have donated exotic cookbooks. "We have cookbooks from all over the world and the United States," Williams says. "It's not just a Southern library." Williams also shares some of the exciting plans she has for the future of the library and for the Southern Food and Beverage Museum.
