Ralph’s On the Park Announces Holiday Happy Hour, Réveillon Menu

NEW ORLEANS (press release) – Ralph’s on the Park – situated along the edge of the New Orleans City Park – sits within a time-honored building dating back to the 1800’s. The restaurant itself has been standing for the past 25 years, an acclaimed dining destination from the patriarch of the Brennan family, Ralph Brennan. The cuisine reflects a modern interpretation of the rich traditions that give New Orleans a gastronomic upperhand. This includes the revival of Réveillon, a customary culinary celebration of Louisiana that has been passionately preserved by Ralph Brennan, so as not to lose this treasured piece of the city’s heritage. And, this holiday season will bring together traditions old and new with “Get Lit” the Inaugural Lighting Ceremony [Monday, De. 2] and the Ugly Christmas Sweater Holiday Happy Hour[Thursday, Dec. 12].

Paying tribute to the seasonal bounty of the south, the Four-Course Réveillon Dinner Menu [$85, Wine Pairings: + $35, available for the month of December] shares a true taste of place. It features beloved classics, including Duck & Andouille Gumbo; Blackened Redfish, served tableside with Seafood Bouillabaisse and Jumbo Lump Crabmeat; Steak au Poivre, with Braised Baby Turnips, Truffle Yukon Gold Potatoes topped with Fried Oyster Mushrooms and Cognac Cream Sauce; and, a Satsuma Icebox Pie with Graham Cracker Crust.

“Get Lit” – literally – on Monday, Dec. 2, [4-9 p.m.] as Ralph’s on the Park becomes aglow with twinkling lights during the Inaugural Lighting Ceremony. Countdown to the official lighting as carolers from the “Truffle Honeys” perform and Ralph Brennan Restaurant Group Director Braithe Gill sabers a magnum of sparkling wine. Cheers with a glass of complimentary Mumm Sparkling Wine or imbibe with seasonal sips [available to purchase] like the signature Get Lit cocktail – featuring McQueen and the Violet Fog Gin, Luxardo, Lavender Syrup, Citrus, Pomegranate Juice, Sicily Blood Orange Soda, Rosemary – served in a commemorative cup or the festive Peppermint Milk Punch.
