In May 2016, Bailee Hayes and Ryan Bradley began a wedding weekend with family and friends. On day one, the bride and groom opted for a small courthouse ceremony accompanied by their close family. The following day, the couple celebrated their nuptials with a fête at Bevolo Lighting Museum in the French Quarter.
“We probably would’ve eloped out of the city [or] country if it weren’t for my mom,” Hayes says.
The bride’s mother had two other children elope and Hayes knew she wanted to give her mom the opportunity to see her daughter get married. Knowing they wanted their ceremony to be intimate, the couple chose the Algiers Courthouse with only their parents in attendance. The bride opted for a short and sweet lace dress with her “something blue” shoes, while the groom looked relaxed in a gray suit.
The following day, Hayes got her bridal moment with a long, sheath Town & Country and Blanc Bridal Couture dress, with an empire waist and beaded bodice accent. After cake, dancing and a confetti send-off the couple rode off into their newly married life in a New Orleans pedicab.
