On Oct. 10, 2015, under the mighty oaks of Stella Plantation, Ashley Melancon and Levi Baer became man and wife. The bride wowed in a Augusta Jones trumpet gown with a sweetheart neckline matched with a sheer lace overlay creating a dramatic high neck and back detailing. The bride’s maids matched the fall season while sporting a rich red hue, however, the short length of the Bill Levkoff gowns matched the actual temperatures of fall in Louisiana. After the picturesque Oak Alley ceremony, the reception began in the plantation’s Harold Pavilion. The fall colors continued in the reception decor from the table settings to the cake. Music by Xpert Productions and the reception-popular photo booth from Magnolia Booth Event kept the party going until the night concluded with a sparkler send off for the newlyweds.
