On May 13, WWLTV Channel 4 weekend sports anchor Leslie Spoon married beau Dustin Almond in a picture-perfect ceremony at Southern Oaks Plantation. Spoon’s strapless, sweetheart Maggie Sottero gown dazzled as the bride and her father pulled up to the ceremony in a horse drawn carriage. Her maids looked pretty in pink, while the men rocked sunglasses and bowties. After the ceremony, the new Mr. and Mrs. second lined along with the University of Southern Mississippi’s mascot — the groom’s alma mater where he played quarterback for the football team — Seymour The Eagle. The night of celebration capped off with Southern Oaks’ signature fireworks display.
