On one of those long-awaited October evenings New Orleanians dream about all summer long, the weather was just right for the Chauvin, Gallè nuptials. Diana Chauvin, owner of La Thai in Uptown, married local WDSU weatherman Jay Gallè on Oct. 4, 2014. It all began at the regal, circa-1880s Holy Name of Jesus Church at Loyola University on St. Charles Avenue followed by a reception at the Audubon Tea Room on Magazine Street. The bride wore a stunning Allure Bride gown with cap sleeves and lace embellishments from Pearl’s Place, made ever more elegant juxtaposed against the red and gold walls and marble floors and pillars of the church. The groom looked dashing in a John’s Tuxedo tux. Guests danced the night away to music from Limitless Deejaying, while snacking on treats from Manhattan Jacks and snapping pictures in the Go Go Booth photo booth.
