Restaurant August and Wonderbird Spirits Hosts Dinner

NEW ORLEANS – Restaurant August announced a special all-inclusive tasting dinner in collaboration with Wonderbird Spirits.

Guests can join the restaurant and spirits company Friday, March 28, at 7 p.m. for what they share will be an evening showcasing Southern craftsmanship and innovation.

The multi-course menu was created by Executive Chef Corey Thomas and will feature dishes like shrimp escabeche and Yellow Edge grouper. Each course will be paired with a Wonderbird Spirits gin cocktails like a Negroni with shrimp oil and an Old Fashioned infused with mushroom and burdock.

“My wife and I met Rob Forster, one of the owners of Wonderbird Spirits, at a local cocktail hour, and we instantly connected over our shared passion for attention to detail, locally sourced ingredients and pushing creative boundaries,” said Chef Corey Thomas in a statement about the dinner. “This dinner is a true celebration of that spirit, and I can’t wait to share it with our guests.”
