Restaurants in New Orleans Everyone’s Talking About

New Orleans is full of new restaurants to try or old faithfuls that are trying something new. And if you’re doing something right, especially in this city, we’re all going to be talking about it.

Here’s a list of restaurants I’ve been hearing about all over my FYP and what I’m going to order.

Bmp & Grnd

This CBD coffee spot only just opened and I have seen so many posts about the egg drop sandwich and banana pudding coffee that if I don’t get one soon I’m going to lose it. Right around the corner from Le Pavillon hotel, it’s truly ideal for anyone staying or working downtown. Right now they’re in their soft opening hours from 7 a.m. – 1 p.m. but I have a feeling they’ll have to expand soon with how popular they’ve already become.

Moi

Vietnamese food has been hugely popular in the city for many years and rightfully so. Moi has been on my feed for a minute and I can’t wait to try a number of things from this deli. My order will be the pork and shrimp meatball banh mi, the lemongrass tofu curry and a salted plum lemonade.

Bayo Social

This is a new one for me, but the vibe looks so fun! It seems to be Caribbean flavors mixed with Creole dishes and I’m in. Seared tuna with Cajun caviar, slow-braised pork shoulder and a Bayo Rita are right up my alley.
