Winter’s over, and we are now able to celebrate the warm weather by spending time outside. “The backyard has become No. 1, as far as entertainment is considered,” says Pepper Tregre, owner of Backyard Living. Tregre and his staff design and install pools, spas, waterfalls, fountains and outdoor kitchens, creating “an atmosphere and ambiance that impresses even the most discerning customers,” he says. “We take the time and effort to get the precise look that accentuates the entire backyard.”
Tregre started working in the pool business more than 20 years ago, while attending University of New Orleans. “Swimming pools were familiar to me from high school summer jobs,” he says. “I began a maintenance program, then the business grew into repairs and renovations. Becoming a gunite contractor was the next facet of my business, thus evolving into the total construction of new pools.”
Today, Backyard Living has about 15 employees who work on design through to construction. “This assures quality control from start to finish,” explains Tregre, who oversees the projects. The designs are created on the computer, which allows the customer to get a better view of what the final product will look like. Another bonus: “We use the best equipment on the market,” he says.
For outdoor entertainment features, pools with unique designs, water features and lighting, Tregre notes that his clientele consists of those who want the very best. They have been “splurging on the finer features that modern pools offer,” he says, and Tregre assures that every step of the way, he will get his clients what they want.
