Built in 1973, the property has evolved greatly since its beginning. RCG Longview Properties purchased it in 2006, and Leslie Bemis, property manager, says that it’s “a full-service apartment community. We have a pool, clubhouse, cabana, fitness center, business center, community room, library, grocery store, salon and restaurant.” The Esplanade also offers a 24-hour concierge service.

What’s the first thing you discuss with a client?

We let the customer tell us what’s most important to them. We tailor our conversation to make them comfortable. Our property tours are tailored to show all the amenities and apartments that the prospective resident wants to visit.

What is one of your goals?
My goal as the property manager is to provide an atmosphere of “home.” My team and I establish this with customer service and maintenance follow-up to provide a safe, comfortable environment in our apartment community. We’ve taken on some enormous projects to continue our reputation as a premier address in New Orleans.

What specials do you have this month?
Our June specials include one month free with a 12-month lease for our two- and three-bedroom units. We have over 20 different floor plans –– something for everyone. Our rates start at $900 and go up to $2,300. We also provide corporate housing when needed.
