The whiskey is aged in a first-of-its-kind floating rickhouse, moored on the banks of the Mississippi River in Ballard County, Kentucky. Thanks to the constant motion of whiskey against the barrel, along with major heat and humidity fluctuations in the floating barge, the whiskey features a distinct, mature taste. The first expression in the Ingram River Aged Series, Ingram River Aged Straight Whiskey, formally launched in October 2020, followed by Ingram River Aged Straight Rye in December 2020 and Ingram River Aged Flagship Bourbon in August 2021.
