It was all about responsibility this past October on the evening of October 9, when Mimi and John Bowen opened the doors of their Audubon Place home to Planned Parenthood of Louisiana and the Mississippi Delta for their annual and primary fundraiser. This year’s theme was “Safe Sex in the Big Easy.” Gala Chairpersons Susan and Jimmy Gundlach were on hand for the evening, which included cocktails and dinner provided by Joel Catering. Local band the Last Straws, who played the best in Dixieland and traditional jazz, entertained guests clad in cocktail attire. All of the committee members were also in attendance to lend support to this worthwhile cause, including Margot and Clancy DuBos, Susan and Ralph Brennan, Kim and Marshall Page and Lee Ledbetter. The night raised much-needed funds for the charitable organization, which provides numerous health services to those in need.
