NEW ORLEANS (press release) – After a successful Pride Month at Saint John (with one weekend to go!), the restaurant announced that its popular Sunday Drag Brunch is not over!
Saint John will continue hosting Drag Brunch every Sunday (with the exception of Saints home games) featuring legendary Drag Queens Debbie with a D and Laveau Contraire (plus special guests).
Guests attending Sunday Drag brunch can enjoy $7.15 mimosas (in honor of Saint John’s home at 715 St. Charles Ave.) plus its weekend brunch menu, featuring favorites like the Boudin Benedict (Cochon de Lait Boudin, Fried Green Tomatoes, Sunny Egg with Sauce Choron), Eggs in Purgatory (Eggs Baked in Spicy Tomato Sauce with Parmesan, Fresh Basil, Toasted Focaccia), Fried Chicken and Waffles (Hot Honey Syrup, Whipped Butter) and Grits and Grillades (Creole Beef Daube Debris, Stone Ground Grits, Caramelized Onions and Peppers with Sauce Béarnaise) along with Saint John staples including its signature Oysters Saint John (Oysters Three Ways: Poached in Double Cream, Crispy Fried and Oyster Dressing in Vol-au-vent), Rabbit Fricassee (House-Made Gnocchi, Bacon Lardon, Carrot, Leek, Fennel), Redfish Meuniere (Roasted Fingerling Potatoes, Artichokes, Arugula and Tomato Salad) and more.
