She found her passion early in 2015 when she began working on Medical Malpractice cases with her father and current law partner, Chip Wagar. A graduate of the National Institute of Trial Advocacy’s trial school, Sarah has litigated over a dozen cases in her young career and argued several important appellate issues. Today, Hickman’s practice is primarily in serious personal injury, namely medical malpractice and other general casualty litigation. Recognized as a rising star in the Medical Malpractice arena, Hickman recently made history and headlines by winning a 12.5 million dollar award, the highest single medical malpractice award in the state, an incredible achievement in litigation, and a life changing award for the family.
A Mandeville native, Hickman attributes her competitive nature to a lifetime as an athlete, competing from high school to the national level in women’s soccer. A history buff who loves to travel, Hickman is happily married to her Husband Chris, an accomplished CPA and they are the parents of two beautiful boys.
