NEW ORLEANS (press release) – In celebration of the official first day of the 2024 Carnival Season, the Sazerac House will host a quintessential Cheers to Carnival featuring the best aspects of the Carnival season, complete with three cocktail samples, signature king cake samples, New Orleans famed Carnival Krewes and marching groups, a Glitter Bar from Elektra Cosmetics and carnival hits from DJ87.
The event will begin with all the Krewes and the Sazerac House team leading an Ojen Cocktail toast to the official start of the Carnival Season and continue with delicious cocktails and the “Golden Geaux Cup” competition, where guests can bring in a festively decorated drinking vessel of any kind for a chance to win prizes!
The event will conclude just at the Joan of Arc Parade is preparing to pass by the Sazerac House, making it the ideal pre-parade party for a night of celebrating the Carnival Season.
