NEW ORLEANS (press release) – The Sazerac House will reopen to the public following Hurricane Ida, toasting to the survival of New Orleans and its official cocktail—the Sazerac Cocktail!
Guests to the Sazerac House enjoy complimentary access to interactive museum-quality exhibits along signature samples of Sazerac company spirits and cocktails. The experience is enhanced with a final stop at an in-house distillery, producing Sazerac Rye Whiskey on-site, with opportunities for guests to participate in many steps of the whiskey making process.
Though Southeast Louisiana is not yet fully recovered from Hurricane Ida, Louisianans have more than earned a cocktail. The Sazerac House welcomes them to enjoy the fully interactive guest experience at the Sazerac House, reveling in cool air-conditioned exhibits alongside complimentary spirits samples.
Per City of New Orleans mandate, guests at the Sazerac House must present proof of vaccination against COVID-19 or a negative PCR test from within the past 72 hours. Masks are required when not actively sampling cocktails or spirits. Reservations for complimentary tours are required, and available online at www.sazerachouse.com.
When: Tuesday, Sept.14, at 11:00 am. The Sazerac House is open Tuesday through Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with the final tour at 4:20 p.m.
