3   David and Maria Huete on April 5 at An Evening at the Stork Club, a fund raising event featuring great food, music, silent and live auctions, all for the benefit of the Holy Name of Jesus School.

4   Brother Martin High School held its second annual President’s Dinner at Galatoire’s Restaurant on Saturday, April 19, 2008. At the event, Brother Francis David of the Provincial of the Brothers of the Sacred Heart for the New Orleans Province, left, with Ms. Ridgley, unveiled the preliminary design for a new chapel. Construction on the chapel will begin in the fall of 2008 and is expected to take 10 months.

5   Karen and Chuck Stall worked with
members of the President’s Dinner committee, Chairman P. Lindsey Williams, Christine and Milton Dureau, and John Gelpi, Jr., all in
attendance, to make the event a great success. All funds raised served the Capital Campaign to Benefit Brother Martin High School, which will allocate funds for a new chapel as well as a freestanding Library/Media Center to be located between the classroom building and the Ridgley Center.

6   NOCCA|Riverfront musical theater students during Celebration Season, an annual end-of -year event recognizing and honoring students concluding their studies at the prestigious Center. A free musical theatre recital was offered to the public on Thursday, May 1, 7 p.m., which included selections from traditional musical theatre standards involving acting, singing and dancing.

7   Tony Digerolano, Roy Juncker, Aaron Broussard, Nicole Ferrier, and Charlie Knapp at the Celebrity Waiters luncheon, a benefit event with proceeds going to Archbishop Shaw High School. Guests dined on bacon-wrapped scallops, mini-beef Wellingtons, baked brie en croute, roasted pork and homemade pralines by Rosanne Mitchell, caterer.

8   Clark Knighten, LaDrier Williams, Elaine Foster, Angela St. Hill, Dana Keller, Varilyn Roussel, and Demetrice Knighten at the Alario Center in Westwego for the Archbishop Shaw fundraising event. Harpist Meredith Arnold, a Loyola University music student, played soothing songs for guests, who also enjoyed beautiful flowers by Dunn and Sonnier.
