There are many exciting things happening in the world of bridal couture in the New Orleans area. So much, that we wanted to make sure you had all the information for the events scheduled so far. There are a few trunk shows, a couture collection sale, a charity fundraiser and more. With all of the stores offering a little something for everyone, there is no way you won’t be able to find your dream dress in the next few weeks.
This weekend (through July 12) marks the final few days of the Sophia Tolli trunk show at Bustles & Bows Bridal Boutique in Metairie. Bustles & Bows is also offering a free veil to any bride that places her order during the trunk show. The Sophia Tolli “Sam” and “Rory” are a couple of our favorites.
Blanc Bridal Couture New Orleans on Magazine Street will be having a Mori Lee by Madeline Gardner Trunk Show. The store will have designs available from next season’s collection today and tomorrow (July 11). This trunk show is available by appointment only.
The Bridal Boutique by MaeMe is joining CASA Jefferson to help donate money and school supplies to 100 foster children. Bring a donation of 10 school supply items or a schoolbag with five items to your appointment and bring home a designer dress from MaeMe for $10. Call The Bridal Boutique by MaeMe for more details and appointment time information.
I Do Bridal Couture in Baton Rouge is having a Couture Collection Sale from July 20 to July 26. Approximately 40 gently loved gowns will be available for brides to purchase off-the-rack and have the opportunity to name your own price. Once you find your dress, you name your price based on the original marked down price and if the bride and I do agree, you have your dream gown. See their I Do website for more information.
