Luxury on the Alabama coast
Guests of The Beach Club Resort and Spa, in Gulf Shore, Ala., can swim at one of five outdoor pools or challenge friends to a game of volleyball on Sand Island. They can take in views of the Gulf of Mexico while dining at the Southbeach Bar & Grill then top off the evening at The Palm Bar with some cocktails. Lakeside cottages are available with private swimming pools and hot tubes.
At Caribe, in nearby Orange Beach, the Resort’s 23-acre waterfront property, three towers offer guests a wide range of activities. Facilities include a fitness center, tennis courts, a lazy river and restaurants, to name a few. “Caribe The Resort is perfect for the couple who enjoys the outdoors,” public relations director Eva Faircloth says.
“Located on the bayside, the resort features unique multi-level swimming pools with slides, as well as a putting green.”
The tallest towers on Orange Beach belong to the Turquoise Place. Each unit has state-of-the-art accommodations including Sub Zero and Wolf appliances and Jacuzzi bathtubs. Every balcony has an outdoor kitchen and private hot tub.
Aside from each resort, there are plenty of activities to do in the area. Local attractions include the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo, Waterville USA, Alligator Alley, shops at the Tanger Outlet Center, more than 200 golf holes and chartered fishing boats.
