A few months ago, LTEC brought you a Q-and-A with jewelry designer Kendra Scott. Scott’s designs can be seen on Hollywood A-listers such as Sofia Vergara, on the pages of national magazines including Glamour and Women’s Wear Daily and now at her New Orleans showroom on Magazine Street.
Not only are her designs on-trend and affordable, but also she has special designs picked specifically for brides and their bridal party. Earrings, bracelets, necklaces and even cufflinks for the men are all available. And if a bride is looking for a little something different, the Kendra Scott Color Bar has also arrived at the store. Scott, who began her business in Austin in 2002, opened the New Orleans studio doors on Sept. 21. On Friday, Dec. 4, Kendra Scott (5757 Magazine Street) is celebrating its arrival in New Orleans. You can sip and socialize while viewing all of the designer’s newest collection at the grand opening party from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Keeping with her mantra of "The truest form of success is to give back in a meaningful way,” 20 percent of all of the sales made during the party will benefit a Junior League of New Orleans’ community program.
