Justin D’Herete discussed his purchase with diamond expert Nafeesa Mateen at Diamonds Direct, during their September fundraiser for No Kid Hungry, a nonprofit working to feed children who have lost access to school meals during the COVID-19 pandemic. Diamonds Direct raised a total of $67,185 in September through an online silent auction, in-store donation opportunities and donating a percentage of their sales to the campaign.

Previously held in Audubon Park, this year’s race went virtual to promote social distancing and featured a variety of weekly challenges for participants to complete throughout the month.
