SoBou Reopens with New Menu and the Return of Legs and Eggs Burlesque Brunch, Featuring Bella Blue

NEW ORLEANS (press release) – The Commander’s Palace Family of Restaurants is welcoming back SoBou, our Louisiana Street Food inspired and naughty cocktail centric sister restaurant at W New Orleans – French Quarter. SoBou has always had that – “Life is Meant To Be Lived, Not Endured” mindset… perfect for these craziest of times. For now, we will be open for dinner service starting at 5pm Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

In addition to our indoor dining, we are now offering outside courtyard dining and SoBou to-go! Our courtyard has always been a favorite intimate hiding spot for locals to grab a cocktail and now our full menu is available as well. And it wouldn’t be SoBou without Burlesque Brunch. Yes, Bella Blue is back starting January 3rd! Our Legs and Eggs Burlesque Brunch always fills up fast so be sure to call 504-552-4095 or visit www.sobounola.com to make reservations.

SoBou is proud to welcome Chef de Cuisine Byron Haliburton to the kitchen. A Louisiana native, Byron spent years refining his culinary skills working in kitchens across the globe. This food passionate chef has an appreciation for “the entire experience” of the guest. As for the menu, it wouldn’t be SoBou without the Crispy Oyster Tacos and the White Chocolate & Cherries Jubilee Bread Pudding. Chef Byron’s take on Louisiana Street Food inspired small plates brings the new Andouille Crusted Chicken Sandwich and the NOLA East Grilled Shrimp with Vietnamese Chimichurri – both will catch your eye and your taste buds. Of course, at our Modern Creole Saloon the drinks are never far from center stage. The “Paris Between the Wars” as featured in Food & Winethis month was invented at SoBou and the Big Hooch served in our giant flasks is back for Burlesque Brunch.
