Son of a Saint Gala

Son of a Saint staged a party takeover at the Four Seasons New Orleans when it brought its dedicated supporters to its 2024 Gala.

The event on Nov. 22 welcomed nearly 600 guests and featured a cocktail reception, dinner and an after-party, raising close to $2 million — some of which was from a live auction helmed by Brian Kish and Mark Romig.

“The 2024 Son of a Saint Annual Gala was an unforgettable experience. The night marked a celebration of community, generosity and the power of mentorship,” said Son of a Saint founder and CEO Bivian “Sonny” Lee. “Thank you to everyone who attended, supported and made the evening spectacular. This moves our mission forward.”

Son of a Saint began back in 2011 with a mere $100 in a start-up bank account and a vision to help the Greater New Orleans community. Today, it has grown to serve 500 youth with more than 30 full-time staff and an operating budget of nearly $5 million.

Presented by RYCARS Construction, Window World, Ochsner Health and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Merrick, the black-tie gala was chaired longtime supporters Ryan and Stephanie Burks.

FUN Fact:  For the first time in the history of its gala, Son of a Saint transformed the Four Seasons New Orleans Garden into its exclusive patron party experience, where VIP attendees and sponsors arrived in 1920s and Jazz Age elegant attire for a pre-party under the stars on Canal Street.
