NEW ORLEANS (press release) – Son of a Saint will host a construction groundbreaking ceremony on Saturday, July 10, at 9:30 a.m. for its newly envisioned headquarters, known as The Ochsner Health Son of a Saint Bivian Lee, Jr. Center.
The 501c3 nonprofit’s team will be joined during the ceremony by its top supporters, including Son of a Saint board members, network constituents, and elected officials, who have been instrumental in bringing the headquarters milestone to fruition. Participating partners will include Ochsner Health, Hancock Whitney Bank, Trapolin-Peer Architects and Broadmoor Construction. City officials and local government representatives attending the event will include The Office of Mayor LaToya Cantrell, The Office of District Attorney Jason Williams, as well as Sheriff Marlon Gusman and New Orleans City Council Member Helena Moreno and Joseph Giarusso.
The outdoor ceremony will last approximately a half hour and will include a golden shovel photo/media interview opportunity.
