Sparkling lights and sparkling wine make a perfect pair during the holiday season, and Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort and the Sandestin Wine Festival are kicking off the holidays with a special sparkling event. Located along the shores of the Choctawhatchee Bay in Northwest Florida, The Village of Baytowne Wharf will host the 7th Annual Sparkling Wine and Holiday Lights event presented by the Sandestin Wine Festival on Saturday, November 16 from 4-6 p.m.

Sparkling Wine and Holiday LightsDuring the event, guests enjoy strolling the Village streets adorned with twinkling lights and greenery as they sample more than 30 champagnes and delicious hors d’oeuvres and desserts provided by Village restaurants. The festive sounds of carolers will fill the air, and the night will end with a preview of The Village’s choreographed holiday light show, 12 Nights of Lights.

“This festival is a fan favorite – the combination of bubbles, delicious food, and plenty of holiday cheer make this event the perfect way to kick off the holiday season,” says Leighann Elliott, Event Manager. “Guests receive a beautiful commemorative event champagne glass and are given the opportunity to explore and compare sparkling wines and champagnes with various flavor profiles and price points.”

According to Elliott, both locals and visitors are welcome, and an accommodation ticket is available for event goers who wish to stay steps or a complimentary tram ride away from the action. The package includes a discounted ticket to the event along with a great deal on accommodations in Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort.
