NEW ORLEANS (press release) – Celebrating the role of girls and women in scouting, The Spirit of Scouting Soirée recognizes female members of our community who have exemplified the Spirit of Scouting by improving the lives of our youth. Spirit of Scouting is proud to continue this event as another opportunity to involve community partners to ensure that they can deliver the best Scouting experience to the youth in every community we serve. The Southeast Louisiana Council, Boy Scouts of America serves more than 3,500 young people in Southeast Louisiana. These young people are part of a program that helps build character and provides leadership training that will serve them and our community for the rest of their lives.
This year, the Spirit of Scouting has the pleasure of honoring three ladies who truly embody the Spirit of Scouting within our community.
The 2024 recipients of the Spirit of Scouting award in honor of their exemplary female leadership are:

Anne Teague Landis – CEO, Landis Construction, LLC
Holly McCollum, Board President of Southeast Louisiana Council of Boy Scouts of America
