This month, Built Story, a self-guided tour marketplace outlet, released a new self-guided tour of the best-decorated “spooky” homes around New Orleans. As we continue to navigate the pandemic, a self-guided and socially distant activity is welcome. And this could be the perfect Halloween-themed date night. Either grab some to-go food and head out on your tour or snag a reservation at a local restaurant that’s practicing appropriate COVID protocols for an after-tour meal.
“We know Halloween looks a bit different this time around. We hope to help families celebrate with these self-guided tours—all season long!” said Alexina Alonso, Built Story co-founder in a press release about the new tour.
To enhance this experience, Built Story partnered with local storytellers and Tour Creators to enhance the experience, as well as allows tour guides, history buffs, local bloggers and more to share their knowledge and stories to add to the tour experience.
